About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform and support transmission line maintenance activities in accordance with technical, safety, and quality standards
  • Support the updating of procedures, standards, and technical instructions, and their integration with digital management systems
  • Track maintenance schedules and logistics using real-time digital tools
  • Monitor contractors, ensuring technical compliance and quality, and authorize payments based on performance indicators
  • Participate in failure analyses and reliability studies (RCM and root cause analysis), proposing corrective and preventive actions
  • Contribute to strategic stock criteria and the planning of critical materials and equipment
  • Support the updating of emergency and contingency plans
  • Participate in technical training and development programs, including safe work practices on energized lines (TCT)
  • Collaborate on innovation and technology development projects for the maintenance and monitoring of transmission lines
  • Conduct field measurements and inspections using thermography, vibration analysis, and electromagnetic interference analysis
  • Stay up to date on regulatory standards, technological trends, and environmental requirements
  • Perform digital inspections and support innovative practices in the inspection of transmission lines and substations
  • Comply with and enforce compliance, anti-corruption, health, safety, quality, environmental protection, and PPE/PPE safety equipment requirements
  • Drive vehicles when necessary and perform related activities as directed by the supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed technical program
  • Current registration with the CFT (Federal Council of Industrial Technicians)
  • Strong knowledge of transmission systems
  • Strong knowledge of corrective and preventive maintenance techniques
  • Strong knowledge of applied live-line techniques and transmission line maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of power systems
  • Strong knowledge of high-voltage mechanical and electrical testing
  • Strong knowledge of materials technology
  • Strong knowledge of national technical standards
  • Drive vehicles when necessary, provided you are properly licensed and authorized
