About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform Internal Audit engagements in accordance with the annual plan, the department’s methodology, and applicable professional standards
Plan audits, including process understanding, walkthroughs, identification of risks and controls, definition of scope, objectives, timeline, risk matrix, and audit program
Execute and document audit tests, assessing the design and effectiveness of controls and ensuring traceability among risks, controls, evidence, and conclusions
Identify, analyze, and discuss weaknesses, root causes, risks, impacts, and improvement opportunities
Develop clear, evidence-based recommendations
Prepare and present audit results to leadership and the audited areas
Monitor and validate action plans
Extract, process, reconcile, and analyze data
Identify trends, anomalies, exceptions, and risk indicators
Assess the integrity and quality of the databases used
Develop and enhance Continuous Auditing routines, including business rules, red flags, automated tests, and analytical workflows in KNIME
Ensure documentation, parameterization, and reproducibility
Support the advancement of Internal Audit’s use of Data Analytics, automation, and Artificial Intelligence
Expand audit coverage, reduce manual activities, and improve the timeliness of analyses
Work collaboratively with regional/global Internal Audit and other control functions while preserving Internal Audit’s independence
Drive when necessary for fieldwork
Travel and perform other duties related to the position

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Data Engineering, Economics, and/or related fields
Strong knowledge of KNIME, including building workflows for data preparation, transformation, integration, analysis, and automation
Experience with or knowledge of developing and maintaining Continuous Auditing, automated testing, or recurring Data Analytics routines
Knowledge of executing and documenting Internal Audit engagements
Knowledge of risk and control assessment
Knowledge of defining and executing tests
Knowledge of documenting evidence and communicating results
Knowledge of Internal Audit standards and the COSO framework
Solution-oriented mindset
Teamwork-oriented approach
Ability to share knowledge
Interest in sustainability
Ability to drive digital transformation and innovation
Valid Category B driver’s license
Availability to travel
