About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the regulatory compliance of the company’s activities in coordination with internal areas, such as Operations, Maintenance, and Projects
- Represent and defend the company’s interests before industry stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and the granting authority
- Draft and manage regulated contracts, coordinating engagement with connecting customers and internal areas
- Assess and manage the regulatory compliance of company processes, including Investments and O&M
- Regulatorily manage Reinforcements & Improvements, including classification, authorizations, and administrative appeals
- Monitor inspections conducted by regulatory authorities, such as ANEEL and ARSESP
- Contribute to regulatory improvements promoted by ANEEL/MME, including public hearings and consultations
- Develop relationship strategies with ANEEL, MME, and ONS
- Manage regulatory processes related to participation in Transmission Auctions
- Engage with external stakeholders and industry organizations to support the development of the transmission sector
- Promote a regulatory culture and facilitate adjustments to internal systems and processes
- Assess ANEEL and MME decisions and draft or coordinate petitions, responses, and administrative appeals
- Prepare defenses against notices of violation, infraction notices, and variable charges, while monitoring administrative proceedings
- Prepare regulatory opinions on issues relevant to the company’s areas
- Work with technical teams to prevent or resolve disputes with government authorities
- Support the strategic planning of ISA CTEEP and its subsidiaries from a regulatory perspective
- Implement process and system improvements, ensuring data traceability and the dissemination of regulatory knowledge
- Participate in training sessions and the development of Work Instructions
- Comply with policies, regulations, and standards related to compliance, health, safety, quality, and environmental protection, using PPE/PPC when necessary
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Engineering (preferably), Business Administration, Law, or a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Basic knowledge of Power BI
- Communication, networking, and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of ANEEL Transmission Rules, ONS Network Procedures, and other industry regulations is considered an advantage
