About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gather, review, and execute vibration isolation takeoffs
Communicate with sales staff and customers to obtain necessary information
Execute estimates and provide quotes to the sales force or customers
Provide and process layout drawing packages
Build project submittals for sales and projects
Gather information for custom engineering packages
Submit and track engineering packages to ensure timely delivery
Support customers and sales staff with technical information and troubleshooting
Develop knowledge of relevant 2007 and 2013 CBC and 2009, 2012, and 2015 IBC sections
Label, file, organize, and archive completed drawings
Build basic seismic submittals using SDF and project deck information
Track project schedules and support project managers for vibration isolation aspects of La Mirada projects
Handle change orders, RFIs, and proposals for vibration isolation projects in La Mirada
Assist in onboarding new team members by sharing ISAT processes and tools
Assist with other tasks as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED required
A two-year technical or engineering degree is a plus
Strong communication and coordination skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects
Familiarity with construction drawings and terminology
Willingness to learn internal systems and processes
Must pass a background check
