About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop modern software solutions for local clients and in-house products based on Java, Spring Boot and Angular
Contribute across the full stack, with a focus on backend or frontend development according to your interests
Take shared team responsibility for the entire development process, from initial concept through implementation, testing, deployment and monitoring
Make pragmatic technical decisions that consider requirements, quality, risk and business value
Write clean code and conduct automated unit and integration tests
Perform peer code reviews, share knowledge and engage in pair programming
Use modern AI tools and coding agents to improve efficiency
Support and mentor less experienced colleagues
Communicate and collaborate directly with clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of solid project experience
Strong command of Java (Spring Boot) or modern web technologies (Angular)
Willingness to contribute to the other part of the stack as needed
Curiosity about database performance, cloud technologies, DevOps pipelines, IT security, accessibility and generative AI
Willingness to constructively challenge requirements, with a focus on technical quality and client value
Team-oriented approach and willingness to support junior developers
Fluent German, at least B2 level
Good English for direct, collaborative communication with clients
