About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop modern, secure software solutions in cloud and web environments using Java, Spring Boot and Angular
Write clear, maintainable code and develop automated tests
Conduct peer code reviews and pair programming
Serve as the team’s point of contact for secure software solutions
Support other teams with secure coding and security analyses
Organize internal tech sessions and raise awareness of current threats
Establish best practices in day-to-day work
Work on application security, DevSecOps, and the secure, privacy-compliant use of AI systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of hands-on experience in Java software development
Good understanding of modern web architectures
Enthusiasm for secure coding and DevSecOps
Enjoyment of sharing knowledge with the team
Knowledge of Spring Boot, Angular, Python, relational databases, Docker, cloud technologies and generative AI is an advantage
Fluent German (at least B2 level)
Good English for coordination within the team and with customers
