About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary point of contact for client engagements, managing day-to-day communications, weekly status reports, and status meetings
Lead end-to-end project delivery, including requirements documentation, backlog creation, prioritization, and coordination of implementation teams
Act as Product Owner for Atlassian Services implementations
Plan, schedule, and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, planning sessions, and reviews
Maintain project artifacts, including Kanban boards, Scrum boards, and task lists
Manage engagement scope, budget, and resources; identify risks, escalate blockers, and prepare change orders and risk assessments
Coordinate execution across consultants, technical teams, and client stakeholders
Report engagement status, progress, and financial health to leadership and clients
Serve as an Atlassian Subject Matter Expert and advise clients on best practices and service offerings
Deliver Atlassian training modules to clients as needed
Support business development through pre-sales consulting, proposal development, SOW creation, and budget estimation
Translate client strategic objectives into implementation plans
Collaborate with technical teams on system maintenance and migration best practices and documentation
Contribute thought leadership content to Atlassian Services marketing initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of experience leading teams as a technical or functional Project Manager
1+ year of hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence
Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills
Working knowledge of project management methodologies
Experience tracking and managing project budgets
Proficiency in Jira project and workflow configuration, including bulk updates and moves
1+ year of Atlassian administration experience with Jira and Confluence (preferred)
Experience managing Atlassian schemes, including permission and project permissions, notification schemes, and security schemes (preferred)
Ability to independently execute Atlassian-related configuration and support work (preferred)
Strong requirements elicitation skills when working with client teams (preferred)
Pragmatic problem-solving approach with the ability to adapt to real-world constraints (preferred)
Exceptional organizational skills that help internal teams and clients stay aligned and on track (preferred)
Willingness to participate in and successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug testing
Authorized to work in the United States
