About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and implement secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure in AWS/Azure to support development teams
Architect and optimize overall cloud environments, ensuring compliance, performance, and long-term sustainability
Provide expert-level guidance for the integration and deployment of AI solutions in cloud environments
Lead efforts to integrate and migrate new tools, platforms, and services into existing SecDevOps pipelines
Optimize cloud spend, including VM burn time, right-sizing resources, and eliminating unused VMs
Deliver third-tier support for outages and complex system issues
Act as a strategic advisor to both the client and development teams regarding cloud services, integration timelines, and product roadmaps

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a Cloud Architect/Solutions Architect in AWS, Azure, or both; strong preference towards Azure
Hands-on experience designing and supporting AI/ML solutions in the cloud
Strong background in SecDevOps and/or CI/CD integration within cloud environments
Expertise in cloud cost optimization and performance tuning
Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance
Cloud certifications, strongly preferred
