About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, coordinate, and implement the organization’s information security
Analyze requirements and potential solutions for technical and economic feasibility
Design optimized firewall and IPS rule structures and ensure standards are maintained
Monitor and maintain the health of all firewalls/IPS and recommend improvements
Develop and maintain documentation of firewall/IPS procedures
Develop and maintain complex schematics relating to network security
Research, evaluate, recommend, design, test, and implement new network security technologies
Apply expert knowledge of current security tools and practices
Provide support to network engineers under general guidance

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of IT experience, required
Bachelor’s Degree, strongly preferred
Hands-on experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), including upgrade, licensing, maintenance, and deployment
Hands-on experience with Cisco Firepower, including upgrade, maintenance, and deployment
Hands-on experience migrating Cisco ASA to Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) mode
Hands-on experience with Cisco 802.1X ongoing deployment
Hands-on experience with DMVPN design and deployment, compliant with CNSSP-15
Hands-on experience with Juniper ADVPN
Good working understanding of OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP routing protocols
Active Top Secret security clearance, required
Ability to work in a standard office environment and lift 25 pounds
