About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administration and support of the IBM QRadar (SIEM) platform, including environment health, capacity, upgrades, and support
  • Tuning of correlation rules, including creation, adjustment, and false-positive reduction
  • Onboarding of new log sources, DSM configuration, parsing, and ingestion validation
  • Integration of new technologies into the monitoring environment (EDR, firewalls, cloud, IAM, etc.)
  • Technical documentation of configurations, integrations, and completed processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience administering and supporting QRadar (SIEM)
  • Strong knowledge of Linux system administration
  • Knowledge of log-source parsing and onboarding (syslog, APIs, DSM)
  • Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, segmentation)
  • Experience working in a SOC/NOC environment
  • Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash)
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with SOAR, including playbook creation—not just platform usage
  • Immediate availability
