About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a Senior Data Engineering Analyst in an agile, multidisciplinary squad
Own the data lifecycle, from ingestion through delivery for analytics consumption, digital products, and AI solutions on AWS
Develop and maintain batch, streaming, and near-real-time data pipelines on AWS
Build data ingestion, transformation, and delivery processes (ETL/ELT)
Work in Data Lake/Lakehouse environments and Data Mesh architecture
Perform data modeling and evolve the SOR, SOT, and SPEC layers
Build datasets, metrics, KPIs, and dashboards in Amazon QuickSight
Ensure data quality, governance, observability, and security
Optimize performance and costs in AWS environments
Use AI tools to accelerate the development and operation of data solutions
Act as a technical reference, disseminating best practices and supporting team development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of Python, PySpark, and SQL
Experience with or knowledge of AWS (Glue, Athena, S3, Lambda, EventBridge, RDS, DynamoDB, and SageMaker)
Knowledge of QuickSight
Knowledge of ETL/ELT and data modeling
Knowledge of Data Mesh, SOR, SOT, and SPEC
Knowledge of Parquet
Experience with AI tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, Devin, and StackSpot AI)
Preferred: AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate
Preferred: Data Lakes and Data Products
Preferred: Data governance, data quality, and data lineage
Preferred: Observability and FinOps
Preferred: Data storytelling
Preferred: Prompt engineering and AI-assisted development
