About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work on the engineering of CEI (Itaú ATM)
Work at Itaú’s CTO office twice a week
Provide cross-functional technical support to all GPM squads
Work across the architecture and peripherals layer through to satellite systems within the self-service ecosystem
Spend approximately 80% of the time on backend and cloud development, with some frontend involvement
Exercise cross-functional technical influence
Participate in architecture discussions
Execute and evaluate POCs
Lead innovation initiatives
Provide technical support to squads
Participate in strategic decision-making
Serve as a technical reference for the community

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience in architecting, developing, and operating applications on AWS
Knowledge of AWS Lambda, ECS/Fargate, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, and API Gateway
Application of Generative AI throughout the software development lifecycle
Strong experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core / .NET
Development and evolution of REST APIs
Knowledge of scalable and resilient architectures
Best practices in version control, observability, and integration
Experience with Kafka
Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture and Publish/Subscribe
Knowledge of distributed queues and asynchronous processing
Application troubleshooting
Incident investigation and resolution
Concurrent programming
Log analysis and diagnosis of complex issues
Preferred: experience in the financial services industry, application modernization and legacy systems, Java and Spring, Angular and TypeScript, Splunk, Datadog or CloudWatch, AWS Glue/SNS/SQS, application security, IAM/OAuth/OpenID Connect, CIAM, banking self-service and ATM environments, XFS/WOSA architecture, PCI/EMV standards, and an AWS Associate-level certification or higher
