About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead medium- and high-complexity projects using agile, hybrid, or traditional methodologies
- Lead project initiation and planning, including kick-off meetings, work breakdown structures (WBS), schedules, RACI matrices, budgets, and baselines
- Manage scope, timelines, costs, margins, risks, and impediments, implementing corrective actions
- Manage internal and external stakeholders and align expectations
- Prepare executive reports, communication plans, and presentations for executives, management, and clients
- Lead formal project closure, delivery acceptance, lessons-learned documentation, and continuous improvement
- Administer contracts for the allocation of IT professionals, including commercial, operational, and contractual terms, SLAs, and service levels
- Manage team allocation and sizing, capacity planning, mobilization, replacement, demobilization, and reassignment
- Lead onboarding and offboarding, ensuring service continuity and knowledge transfer
- Monitor the occupancy, utilization, and performance of allocated professionals, identifying underutilization, overwork, and opportunities for optimization, development, and retention
- Control timesheets and measurement of services provided
- Act as the clients’ primary point of contact in meetings, feedback sessions, operational negotiations, and escalations
- Support Sales and Human Resources with hiring planning, recruitment, and the definition of profiles, seniority levels, and mobilization timelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience managing medium- and high-complexity IT projects
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), as well as traditional and hybrid approaches, with experience leading squads
- Experience in capacity planning and managing the professional allocation lifecycle
- Experience leading and supporting multidisciplinary teams, developing professionals, and managing relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Experience preparing and presenting management and executive reports
- Knowledge of Jira or Azure DevOps
- Intermediate or advanced Excel skills
- Consultative mindset and the ability to develop action plans
- Autonomy, organization, and strong priority-management skills
- Customer-focused, with a commitment to delivery quality
- Focus on operational efficiency and financial sustainability
- Assertive communication, systems thinking, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholder profiles
- Data-driven decision-making
- Preferred: experience with software factory projects
- Preferred: experience with software products or solutions incorporating AI
- Preferred: experience administering and managing outsourcing and IT professional allocation contracts
- Preferred: experience managing multiple contracts, projects, and clients simultaneously
- Preferred: PMP certification
- Preferred: PSM, CSM, or PMI-ACP certification
- Preferred: experience negotiating contract amendments, revising scope, and adjusting team structures
- Preferred: knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Advanced English is a plus
