About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Function as a dynamic member of the patient care team
- Provide education and guidance to fertility patients throughout their journey
- Serve as treatment coordinator and strive to provide an optimal patient experience
- Assist with coordination of care, management, and treatment of fertility patients
- Implement provider directives through management of diagnostic and clinical treatment plans
- Review medical records and lab results
- Ensure accurate data is entered into the EMR
- Communicate test results and patient instructions
- Provide patient education regarding testing, treatment options, and RMA processes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care services in the EMR
- Perform nursing interventions and procedures as necessary to promote patient care and safety
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients
- Participate in nurse education and training and mentor peers
- Promote a collaborative and productive environment across departments
- Assist providers with in-office procedures as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active RN license without limitations - required
- BSN Degree— highly preferred
- BCLS and/or ACLS and/or IV certification – preferred
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings - required
- 2+ years practical experience working as a nurse – highly preferred
- Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience
