About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and support Snowflake data warehouse infrastructure
  • Maintain and optimize data ingestion pipelines and models
  • Design and implement new data source ingestions and models
  • Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of data infrastructure
  • Resolve data infrastructure outages
  • Support automated data extract distributions from Snowflake
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address data needs
  • Continuously monitor and optimize data system performance
  • Collaborate on the development and maintenance of disaster recovery plans
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture and processes
  • Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for complex data issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 3+ years in data architecture or engineering
  • Extensive experience with Snowflake
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and integration
  • Proven experience managing cloud-based data infrastructures
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex data issues
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Technical skills: APIs, ETL tools (Apache, Talend, Informatica), scripting (Python, Java, Scala, Bash, Powershell), DevOps (Terraform/CloudFormation), Azure DevOps
  • Certifications in Snowflake or related technologies preferred
  • Experience with DBT or Alation preferred
  • Familiarity with data analytics and BI tools preferred
