About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform all instructional duties necessary to teach and facilitate student learning in assigned classes
- Provide course syllabi and follow syllabus content and requirements
- Maintain student attendance and grading records according to College policy and the Adjunct Handbook
- Submit requested information within established timelines
- Be available to students outside scheduled class time to answer questions or provide assistance
- Address student concerns and consult with the program coordinator when necessary
- Meet all scheduled classes of contracted courses
- Use technology such as Canvas and PowerPoint as appropriate
- Notify the program or department chair in the event of an emergency absence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's Degree in Diesel Technology or related field + 3 years of relevant work experience + relevant industry certification (if applicable), OR Bachelor's degree in a related field + 2 years of related work experience + relevant industry certification (if applicable), OR Bachelor's degree in any field + 5 years of related work experience + relevant industry certification (if applicable)
- Candidates must submit a copy of credentials with application
- Employment contingent on acceptable criminal background check results
- Teaching or training experience preferred
