Assist developers with evaluating software developed for veterans' affairs
Build test plans with test cases based on user stories
Generate test data using manual processes
Execute test cases to evaluate software performance
Document test results
Communicate defects to the development team
Potentially gain skills in automation and development while establishing software testing experience

What you’ll need

Experience with test methodologies, QA process, and the software release cycle
Knowledge of release procedures and software defect tracking
Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts
Ability to apply appropriate test methodologies, including writing test plans and test cases
Prior experience with federal or VA.gov digital services highly desirable
Must be able to pass a US Government Public Trust Security Clearance
Experience with JIRA
Experience with Selenium
Experience in an Agile working environment
Knowledge of operating systems and networking
