About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for pre-assembly, packaging, and shipping
Continuously develop direct reports and improve planning and control processes
Ensure compliance with operational and statutory requirements within the area of responsibility
Oversee customer project execution with regard to quality, on-time delivery, and costs
Coordinate project schedules and technical matters with Inside Sales, Engineering, and Project Management
Perform technical order closing and post-calculation of production orders
Plan and ensure the required capacities
Create and manage production orders in SAP
Ensure materials are provided on time in cooperation with Logistics and Procurement, including tracking missing parts
Be responsible for quality and defect management
Conduct the daily shopfloor meeting
Track KPIs relevant to the department
Coordinate corrective actions with the responsible departments

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, or completed qualification as a master craftsperson or state-certified technician with a relevant specialization
Leadership experience
Strong communicator with a results-oriented approach and customer-focused mindset
Flexible and pragmatic approach when deviations from standard procedures occur
Strong ability to interpret technical documents and specifications, including drawings, schematics, and layout plans
Skilled in implementing interdisciplinary and complex processes
Very good knowledge of SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA
Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment
Very good written and spoken German
Basic knowledge of English
Leadership personality with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to maintain an overview even in a fast-paced environment
