About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain data feeds related to employee profiles, communication surveillance, and trading activity
Maintain critical compliance alerts supporting regulatory obligations, escalation, and auditability
Contribute to a compliance restrictions system enabling firmwide trading
Standardize trade and order data across trading systems
Contribute to data enrichment and integrations for regulatory reporting and trade surveillance
Collaborate with senior developers and Compliance stakeholders to translate policies and regulatory rules into technical workflows and controls

Requirements

What you’ll need

2-5 years of professional experience in software development, with exposure to committing code into production environments
Proficient in Python for software development
Strong foundation in React / TypeScript, REST APIs, and SQL
Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS RDS / Postgres / MySQL, Git and modern development workflows
Experience or willingness to participate in on-call rotas for critical systems
Experience working on trading platforms and with order & execution data is a plus
Exposure to AWS or cloud infrastructure preferred, but not required
Experience with Docker or CI/CD pipelines preferred, but not required
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Curious mindset with a willingness to learn quickly
