About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Synthesize customer feedback, research, product data, and business context to identify opportunities and clarify priorities
- Generate and pressure-test product ideas with product and engineering
- Own concepts through flows, functional prototypes, production-ready interfaces, launch, and early iterations
- Build high-fidelity prototypes with realistic data and interactions
- Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar AI tools to prototype and iterate with engineers
- Apply information architecture, interaction design, visual hierarchy, content, accessibility, responsive behavior, and edge-case design
- Align partners, surface risks, and balance user value, feasibility, and delivery constraints
- Define success and use qualitative and quantitative evidence to guide iteration after launch
- Contribute to shared design patterns, provide constructive critique, and mentor peers
- Report to the Head of Product Design
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-8+ years of product design experience
- Portfolio showing your process, personal contributions, and reasoning behind key decisions
- Proven 0 to 1 experience owning design for a new product or substantial feature from initial idea through launch
- Strong interaction and visual design craft, including complete flows beyond the happy path, accessibility, and reusable components
- Strong product instincts and customer-needs-driven ideas
- Hands-on prototyping ability in Figma and at least one AI coding tool (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar)
- Experience with design systems used across multiple teams, AI products, marketing workflows, or complex enterprise software
- Familiarity with shipping design changes through GitHub pull requests and working through code review with engineers
- Strong collaborative track record with product and engineering
- Skill using research and data to inform design decisions
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Willingness to answer whether visa sponsorship is required
