About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install and commission portioning machines at customer sites
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of electrical and mechanical faults
- Carry out preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment availability
- Train customers in the safe operation and maintenance of the machines
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers
- Identify service opportunities for spare parts, service contracts, or upgrades
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed technical training, e.g., as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician, industrial mechanic with additional qualifications, or equivalent
- Experience servicing machines and equipment is an advantage
- Good knowledge of mechanics and electrical engineering
- Independent and structured approach to work
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong customer and service orientation
- Good command of German
- English language skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel: approximately 50% nationally (primarily southern Germany) and 50% internationally
- Class B driver's license
