About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support month-, quarter-, and year-end reporting activities
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Participate in monthly balance sheet reviews with the business and SSC
- Investigate and resolve accounting issues
- Support OneStream reporting
- Ensure financial transactions follow US GAAP and JBT Marel standards
- Support internal and external audit requests
- Participate in remediation of audit and control findings
- Document standard operating procedures and accounting instructions
- Share accounting best practices within the Accounting Center of Excellence
- Support the Accounting Manager in implementing best practices
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Lead implementation of best practices to improve close and reporting efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting operations
- Participate in special projects assigned by the Accounting Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- CPA desired
- Minimum of 3 years of revenue-based accounting experience
- Strong experience with over-time accounting
- Experience working within a manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Ability to support accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Ability to travel up to 10% when needed for company meetings and team building
