About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute a technical training strategy aligned with business objectives and the Next Gen vision
- Identify skill gaps and create learning roadmaps
- Establish KPIs measuring learning effectiveness and business impact
- Manage multiple training initiatives and projects
- Design instructor-led, e-learning, virtual, simulation, and blended learning programs
- Create structured learning paths to accelerate employee development and technical proficiency
- Partner with subject matter experts to transform technical knowledge into training experiences
- Deliver training when needed and serve as a learning champion
- Collaborate with leaders, managers, product experts, and service teams to identify capability needs
- Advise on workforce development and performance improvement
- Build partnerships with external training vendors and certification organizations
- Use data, assessments, learner feedback, learning systems, and skills matrices to improve training effectiveness and identify future capability needs
- Champion continuous learning, innovation, and operational excellence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Education, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience leading technical training, workforce development, or learning enablement programs
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience developing and implementing learning programs and training strategies
- Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and learning technologies
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- A proactive, hands-on mindset with a passion for helping others grow
- Travel up to 30% is required
- Preferred: Master's degree in a related discipline
- Preferred: Professional certifications in instructional design, training, project management, or similar fields
- Preferred: Experience supporting technical, engineering, manufacturing, or field service environments
- Preferred: Experience working with Field Service Technicians and technical service organizations
