About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide customer technical service and support
- Perform mechanical and electrical installation and start-up
- Modify PLC software on system controls
- Train customers
- Troubleshoot machine issues and malfunctions
- Travel up to 85% domestically and internationally
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls in a machinery environment
- Mechanical and electrical technical skills to troubleshoot, design and solve machine malfunctions
- Experience with hydraulics systems and/or industrial bakery
- Ability to travel up to 85% domestically and internationally
- Ability to stand, walk, use hand and finger dexterity, and occasionally sit
- Ability to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl occasionally
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 40 pounds
- Required close, distance, color, peripheral and depth vision, and ability to adjust focus
