About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and proofread transactional documents and correspondence
  • Manage attorney calendars
  • Schedule meetings and conference calls
  • Coordinate transaction-related activities

  • Communicate with clients and other parties by phone or email
  • Prepare, revise, format, proofread, and redline corporate and transactional documents
  • Organize and maintain client and matter files in the firm's document management system
  • Support corporate transactions by coordinating documents, signatures, filings, deliveries, and other administrative aspects of transactions and closings
  • Collaborate with attorneys and Finance to review and process vendor payments, client-related expenses, and attorney expense reports
  • Assist with overflow work and miscellaneous tasks as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Corporate Legal Assistant at a law firm or equivalent
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree or higher preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
  • Experience with document management systems preferred
