About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Manage branching strategies, coordinate code freezes, and handle hotfix releases
- Diagnose pipeline failures and resolve build bottlenecks
- Automate repetitive release tasks and improve YouTrack workflows
- Gather development-team requirements and turn pain points into tooling improvements
- Communicate process changes to stakeholders and support teams through transitions
- Lead incident retrospectives to refine the release process
- Own release infrastructure and delivery workflows for JetBrains IDEs
- Ensure predictable, efficient, and reliable releases
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines such as TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
- Fluency in Kotlin or Java
- Practical experience with Gradle or similar build systems
- Familiarity with Linux environments and shell scripting
- Experience using issue tracking tools such as YouTrack or Jira to manage workflows
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English
- Experience with large-scale monorepo builds, the JetBrains toolchain, plugin compatibility testing, or multi-product release pipelines is a plus
