About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients seeking family law services
- Answer incoming calls and gather essential information
- Assess and vet prospective clients according to established criteria and procedures
- Ask intake questions to understand callers’ needs and circumstances
- Identify missing or incomplete intake information and obtain necessary details
- Enter caller and prospective client information accurately into Lawmatics
- Maintain complete, organized, and current intake records
- Use RingCentral to manage incoming and outgoing telephone communications
- Provide callers with clear information regarding next steps in the consultation process
- Schedule consultations based on attorney availability and established procedures
- Follow up on prospective client inquiries when requested
- Protect confidential client and prospective client information
- Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, attorneys, and administrative team members
- Support additional intake and client service tasks as assigned and appropriately trained
- Answer approximately 30 to 40 incoming calls each day professionally, warmly, and promptly
Requirements
What you’ll need- Full time remote position
- Working hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST
- Location and time zone supported: Maryland, Eastern Standard Time
- Advanced spoken and written English
- Previous intake, customer service, reception, lead qualification, or client facing experience is required
- Previous experience using a customer relationship management platform is preferred
- Experience in a law firm or family law environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to gather and document sensitive information accurately
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Reliable availability throughout the established working schedule
- Strong internet connection and a professional remote workspace
