About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Track active cases and ensure they continue progressing efficiently
  • Manage attorney calendars, meetings, and scheduling requests
  • Monitor case deadlines and support timely completion of litigation tasks
  • Maintain accurate case records and organize documentation
  • Assist with litigation strategies and case progression activities
  • Review and analyze discovery materials and case-related documentation
  • Draft motions, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents
  • Examine case files and legal records to identify critical information
  • Provide proactive support while independently managing complex legal assignments
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and case information
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and administrative efficiency
  • Organize and prioritize incoming emails and communications
  • Coordinate and schedule depositions
  • Prepare attorneys for depositions, hearings, and case-related proceedings
  • Collaborate with attorneys and team members to support legal operations
  • Complete all application stages and follow recruiter-provided next steps

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Law Degree required
  • Advanced legal knowledge and litigation experience required
  • Personal Injury experience preferred
  • Prosecutor experience highly preferred
  • Civil Rights legal experience highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of litigation procedures, discovery processes, and legal documentation
  • Ability to independently manage complex case assignments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Exceptional reading comprehension and analytical abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Low call volume position with limited phone communication responsibilities
  • Proficiency with Smart Advocate, EvenUp, Slack, and Zoom
  • Availability Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM PST
  • Candidates located within or close to the Pacific Time Zone preferred
