About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead engagement with government and regulatory stakeholders
Shape regulatory strategy and ensure compliance with applicable legislative frameworks
Coordinate advocacy strategies and action plans for emerging regulatory issues, industry programs, and corporate initiatives
Monitor and evaluate economic, social, political, legislative, and regulatory developments
Identify commercial risks and competitive advantages arising from operating-environment changes
Monitor global telecommunications industry events and trends and assess their applicability in Ukraine
Develop advocacy materials aligned with the Company's approved positions
Prepare regulatory and legislative proposals, letters, presentations, and other materials
Identify and develop contacts in government and business circles
Build working relationships to consult on regulatory issues
Determine timeframes and channels for presenting the Company's views and positions
Participate in industry and business associations and regulatory-authority working groups
Represent the Company's interests in interactions with public organizations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 3 years of experience in government or regulatory institutions, consulting firms, reputable law firms, or regulated industries
Practical experience working with legislative initiatives and draft laws in Ukraine
Advanced user of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Native Ukrainian proficiency
Upper-intermediate/advanced English proficiency
Higher education in economics, humanities, law, or related fields
High level of integrity and attention to detail
Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and persuasively
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
Strategic mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proactive, solution-oriented, and innovative problem-solving mindset
Team-player orientation
