About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and design complex building services systems
- Support projects from initial concept through completion
- Handle HOAI service phases 1–9
- Size and design building services systems using appropriate calculation software
- Create, edit, and review design and construction drawings
- Coordinate with architects, specialist planners, clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Provide technical support throughout the various planning and implementation phases
- Coordinate and monitor technical interfaces
- Ensure technically sound, cost-effective, and standards-compliant planning
- No disciplinary personnel management responsibility
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in building services engineering, building systems engineering, energy and building technology, or a comparable qualification
- Alternatively, completed vocational training followed by further qualification as a state-certified technician or master craftsperson in HVAC/building services engineering
- Professional experience in the planning and design of building services systems
- Good knowledge of the HVAC disciplines: heating, ventilation, and plumbing
- Proficiency with commonly used calculation and planning software
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- CAD skills are an advantage
- Good to very good German language skills, both written and spoken
- Independent, structured, and reliable approach to work
- Team player with strong planning and coordination skills
