About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and configure a complete Jira environment from scratch
- Design workflows, permissions, screen schemes, timesheets, dashboards, and reporting
- Translate business requirements into practical and scalable Jira solutions
- Proactively challenge requirements and recommend better approaches
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and provide real-time guidance
- Mentor the client’s Scrum Master on Jira administration and Agile/Scrum best practices
- Provide clear progress updates and communicate directly with client stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of hands-on Jira administration experience
- 4+ years of professional Scrum experience
- Proven experience building or significantly redesigning Jira environments end to end
- Strong knowledge of workflows, permissions, screen schemes, time tracking, and reporting
- Advanced English proficiency—C1 or higher
- Strong communication, critical-thinking, and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to work independently and serve as a consultative expert, not only as an order taker
- Experience teaching or mentoring others on Jira and Scrum processes
- Nice to have: Experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager
- Nice to have: Experience with Confluence and Tempo Timesheets
- Nice to have: Spanish proficiency
- Candidates must be based within Latin America; candidates based in Monterrey, Mexico, are preferred
