About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain features in a native Kotlin app using Jetpack Compose and the internal design system
Migrate legacy XML screens to Compose
Implement asynchronous flows such as background uploads during multi-step forms
Work as the Android developer within a cross-functional feature team, from technical design through release and monitoring
Participate in code and design reviews
Support teammates across the Android chapter
Use AI coding tools in the daily workflow and validate every output before submitting it

Requirements

What you’ll need

Willingness to work in the Italian time zone with full overlap
3+ years of native Android development with Kotlin, with native Android as the main focus in recent years
2+ years of hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
Good knowledge of asynchronous programming with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
Experience with dependency injection using Hilt
Knowledge of clean code principles and architectural patterns, with at least a conceptual understanding of MVI
Experience consuming REST APIs
Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude, Codex or similar), with the ability to explain and validate the generated code
Ability to communicate clearly in English
