About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain production applications running in a multi-region AWS environment
- Contribute to application deployments across multiple AWS regions
- Troubleshoot application and deployment issues
- Work with DevOps/infrastructure teams to support reliable deployments
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines
- Work with containerized and cloud-native applications
- Support application availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery requirements
- Investigate issues across application and cloud environments
- Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead on technical decisions
- Contribute to, but not own, the broader multi-region architecture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on experience in real-world multi-region AWS environments, with the same application running in two or more regions
- Experience operating, troubleshooting, or supporting multi-region applications for high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery
- Strong software development experience in Go, Python, and Node.js
- Production application experience
- Ability to troubleshoot application issues and work directly in the codebase
- Comfort collaborating with infrastructure/DevOps teams
- Hands-on AWS experience with cloud-native applications and production environments
- Understanding of how applications are deployed and operated across regions
- Strong DevOps exposure: CI/CD, infrastructure automation, cloud deployments, containers/orchestration, and deployment troubleshooting
