About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and other visualization tools
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, KPIs, and business objectives, and translate them into effective BI solutions
- Assist in data preparation activities, including data cleansing, validation, and transformation, in collaboration with data engineers and data scientists
- Support the development and enhancement of self-service reporting solutions and dashboard capabilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot existing dashboards and reports to ensure data accuracy and optimal performance
- Apply BI and data visualization best practices to create intuitive, user-friendly, and impactful reports
- Stay updated on emerging BI technologies, tools, and visualization trends and recommend improvements where relevant
- Support user training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and documentation related to BI reports and dashboards
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–3 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, dashboard development, data analytics, or related areas
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard and report development
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and experience working with structured datasets
- Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, and KPI tracking
- Understanding of data modelling concepts and ETL processes is an advantage
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and data visualization principles
- Understanding of visualization best practices, including layout, colour usage, storytelling, and user-centric design
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
