About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a primary point of contact for small business clients by phone and email
Review and analyze commercial insurance policies for accuracy and appropriate coverage
Prepare audit check spreadsheets across multiple lines of coverage
Maintain policy and client documentation in Applied Epic or a similar agency management system
Complete policy billing templates and partner with Accounting for timely processing
Gather renewal information, market accounts, and work with carriers to secure competitive coverage options
Prepare and present renewal and new business proposals to clients
Issue certificates of insurance, evidence of property, auto ID cards, and endorsements
Review endorsements, audits, and policies for accuracy before delivery to clients
Collaborate with producers, carriers, and internal teammates to deliver a seamless client experience

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of commercial lines insurance experience, preferably in an agency or brokerage environment
Working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages across multiple lines
Experience supporting or managing a high-volume small commercial book of business
Experience with Applied Epic preferred; experience with AMS360 or a similar agency management system is also valuable
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Clear, professional communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
Ability to manage competing priorities and take ownership of client needs
Active Property & Casualty insurance license, or ability to obtain any additional licenses required for the role
Occasional travel may be required depending on book of business and industry focus
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment where shared responsibility matters
Preference for candidates located in GA, MD, NH, OH, PA, SC, TX, VA, or WV
