About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and lead the Finance team, managing the current team and recruiting across FP&A, Finance Operations, and Procurement
Own budgeting, forecasting, actuals-versus-budget reporting, and financial modeling across business lines and geographies
Run monthly and annual accounting close with external accountants across France, Spain, and the US
Manage financial statement audits and build robust fraud and error controls
Develop group consolidation under IFRS as entities are added
Manage cash visibility, Gift Cards working capital, multi-currency flows, banks, and financing partners
Structure the multi-entity group, including intercompany flows, transfer pricing, cost allocation, and local compliance
Partner with the COO and co-founders on market expansion, investment allocation, pricing, and business priorities
Support investor relations, investor modeling, financial reporting, and fundraising preparation
Drive cost efficiency and negotiate key supplier contracts
Use AI to automate reporting, reconciliation, data extraction, and analysis
Coordinate accountants, auditors, and financial advisors
Report to the COO and build the Finance function toward a future VP Finance role

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience combining traditional finance (audit, transaction services, corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity) and finance in a high-growth tech company or scale-up
Hands-on experience in at least two of FP&A/business projection; accounting, financial control, or cash; financing, structuring, or procurement
Experience running a finance function or large part of one end to end
Experience leading or coordinating a team
Experience hiring and developing finance professionals
Hands-on experience building financial models, closing processes, and reporting packs
Ability to understand a new business quickly and explain its key mechanics to stakeholders, co-founders, and investors
Strategic, data-backed business partnering and ability to challenge leadership
Structured, data-driven, detail-oriented approach
Practical experience using AI tools in finance
Fluent English; French is a plus but not mandatory
