About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work as part of the project team, assisting with project scope and schedule development and minor project management duties
- Assist project teams on projects and assignments
- Manage project commercial matters, including cost reports and payment management
- Use required project management technology for assigned projects
- Assist in developing scopes and schedules for assigned projects
- Conduct and document weekly meetings as needed
- Coordinate subcontractor activities
- Independently manage minor renovation projects as needed
- Assume responsibility for projects up to 10,000 square feet with minimal oversight as needed
- Interact and negotiate with contractors and subcontractors as needed
- Proactively meet client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Make independent decisions within assigned duties and seek guidance outside the work scope
- Track, prepare documentation packages, and secure landlord and third-party approvals
- Coordinate and track vendor RFPs
- Maintain accurate electronic files and documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Diploma or Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Business, Library System Management, Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, preferred
- 1-3 years as Project Coordinator or Construction/Architecture graduate
- Previous Project Coordinator experience for corporate office interiors, international banking retail, high tech office/labs is preferred
- Basic knowledge of construction, architecture or commercial real estate industry
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with executive-level internal and external clients
- Organizational and detail-oriented, with ability to prioritize and manage differing business needs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to multitask within a team structure and independently
- Excellent organizational skills
