About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building automation controls according to scheduled maintenance plans while identifying opportunities to improve system efficiency
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using appropriate tools, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques, prioritizing issues based on safety and operational impact
- Conduct routine inspections of building systems, safety equipment, and structural components to identify potential problems before they escalate into costly repairs or safety hazards
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment records using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track trends and support data-driven decision making
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, installations, and major maintenance projects, ensuring quality standards and cost-effectiveness
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or related technical field
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with demonstrated capacity to diagnose complex system issues
- Valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent required
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, climb ladders, work in confined spaces and various weather conditions, and participate in after-hours emergency response and on-call rotation schedule as required
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
