About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Run discovery with business line teams through interviews, workshops and observation of live work
  • Document how work is done today, who does it, and where cost and effort sit
  • Map current-state and target-state processes, recording volumes, handoffs, systems, exceptions and cycle times
  • Build quantitative baselines from time, volume and cost data and maintain assumption logs
  • Prepare model inputs, run sensitivity checks and maintain evidence supporting savings
  • Write business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for the Automation and AI pillar
  • Answer design questions as the build progresses
  • Prepare implementation-plan inputs covering process changes, role changes, dependencies and business decisions
  • Support user acceptance testing and rollout with transformation-team PMO and project-management resources
  • Capture adoption and usage data after go-live so benefits can be traced
  • Use AI agents for transcription, synthesis, analysis and documentation, verifying their output against source material
  • Maintain consistent documentation standards across business analysts and process-mapping colleagues
  • Contribute to reusable templates, process libraries and design patterns
  • Raise risks, scope changes and data gaps with the Strategy and Design Lead, with a recommended way forward

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 or more years in business analysis, process improvement, operations consulting or transformation delivery
  • Process mapping and current state documentation to a recognised notation or agreed standard
  • Requirements elicitation and writing, including interviews, workshops, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Quantitative analysis, with Excel to a high standard and the ability to build a baseline from raw volume, time and cost data and show the working
  • Ability to run discovery conversations with experienced operational staff and establish how work is actually done
  • Fast and agile ways of working, comfortable operating with incomplete information and iterating to an outcome
  • Practical understanding of what AI and automation can do and where they fall short
  • Ability to work with AI agents and incorporate them into delivery, including checking their output
  • Ability to set own priorities and timelines with minimal guidance, present finished work for sign off, and escalate issues early
  • Fluent written and spoken English for daily work with colleagues and stakeholders across time zones
  • Consulting, strategy or transformation practice background (preferred)
  • Power BI or a comparable tool for data analysis and visualisation (preferred)
  • Offshoring, shared service or platforming experience (preferred)
  • Real estate services, facilities management or comparable global services experience (preferred)
  • Exposure to automation or AI delivery, including writing requirements for workflow automation, agents or data products (preferred)
