About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the Flex Pricing Team, a pool of Pricing Managers deployed across industry verticals based on pursuit demand
  • Lead pricing pursuits including complex global opportunities
  • Partner with Sales, Solutions, Commercial Executives, Product Teams, Service Lines, Business Lines and Corporate Finance to develop pricing solutions
  • Own intake and allocation of pricing requests and assign Pricing Managers based on deal size, complexity, stage, timing, capacity and fit
  • Set lead and backup coverage, balance workloads and rebalance priorities as needed
  • Maintain a live view of the team’s pipeline to forecast demand, plan capacity and flag resourcing gaps
  • Partner with vertical and regional pricing leads to share capacity during demand peaks
  • Coach and develop Pricing Managers; recruit, onboard and integrate new team members
  • Keep Sales, Solutions and Commercial Executive leaders informed on coverage, status and capacity
  • Compile optimal client pricing solutions for new business, renewals, expansions, reprices and best-and-final offers
  • Integrate pricing inputs across product teams, business lines, service-line SMEs, account management and pursuit teams
  • Develop service delivery and platform costs, document value propositions and investigate benchmarking data
  • Develop or oversee comprehensive profitability and cash flow models for fee modeling and deal approval
  • Lead or participate in client sessions to validate data and clarify RFP responses
  • Deliver profitability measurement and fee modeling, pricing templates, benchmarking and assumptions, risk identification, RFP exhibits and schedules, and deal approval documentation
  • Lead pricing handover at transition and educate account and client onboarding teams
  • Drive continuous improvement of pricing tools, intake and allocation processes, pipeline tracking and capacity tools
  • Champion AI-enabled pricing technology and cloud-based models
  • Improve the firm’s pricing estimates and savings-opportunity capabilities
  • Maintain reporting and compliance standards
  • Build deep expertise in asset-based pricing and facilities-management operating-expense estimating and grow that expertise across the team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team of pricing or finance professionals, including assigning and balancing work across multiple concurrent pursuits
  • Strong commercial judgment, with an intuitive feel for deal-making and the drivers of profitability
  • Advanced proficiency using Excel and PowerPoint, and comfort with pricing tools and AI-enabled analytics
  • Strong financial/analytical skills and ability to think strategically and analytically
  • Knowledge of Work Dynamics business lines and service delivery
  • Knowledge of facility management operations and service delivery
  • Able to lead multiple pursuits simultaneously while overseeing the team’s wider portfolio
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to present pricing to senior leaders, deal review boards and clients
  • Independent worker with a team player attitude
  • Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on resourcefulness
  • Creative thinker and self-starter, with the personal focus, energy and leadership ability to drive projects forward
  • Accuracy, thoroughness, and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to travel occasionally

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field
  • 8+ years of relevant pricing, finance or commercial experience in real estate, facilities management or other business-to-business services
