About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support end-to-end O2C product design strategy from concept through launch and iteration
- Direct the design, modification, and evaluation of O2C solutions across billing, accounts receivable, and third-party integrations
- Partner with Product Owners and Product Support to balance current-state support with forward design work
- Build and maintain a performance framework covering design quality, process efficiency, and business value
- Present strategic roadmaps and investment cases to Finance Technology leadership and the O2C Steering Committee
- Guide design of O2C enhancements including contract asset handling, credit note automation, and client onboarding
- Identify opportunities to streamline billing and contract processes through digitization, automation, and agentic AI
- Ensure design decisions support financial close, month-end reporting, revenue assurance, regional regulatory requirements, and internal controls across 60+ countries
- Research and propose GenAI use cases including intelligent cash application, proactive collections optimization, automated dispute resolution, and working-capital forecasting
- Build ROI-based business cases for GenAI and automation initiatives
- Make and defend build-vs-buy decisions on AI and automation tooling, including vendor selection, platform integration, and total cost of ownership
- Extend agentic workflow design across integrations with payment gateways, banks, treasury platforms, and CRM systems from concept to production
- Partner with Enterprise Data & AI teams on technical feasibility and enterprise AI governance
- Apply audit and compliance principles, including SOX, to billing and revenue-related workflows
- Maintain audit- and compliance-ready design documentation
- Participate in monthly O2C Steering Committee and quarterly CFT Portfolio Review governance forums
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years' experience with a major ERP finance platform supporting Order-to-Cash operations, with strong preference for PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2
- Deep functional expertise across the O2C lifecycle: contracts, billing, accounts receivable, credit management, collections, cash application, and experience delivering change with tangible benefits
- Strong understanding of financial close, month-end reporting, and revenue assurance processes in a global, multi-entity environment
- Experience contributing to at least one global ERP rollout or large-scale finance transformation program
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior finance and technology stakeholders
- Proven experience scoping, validating, and deploying AI/ML or automation use cases in finance operations, with ability to provide specific examples of business value delivered
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools and platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or Oracle AI DP/Apex
- Familiarity with agentic workflow frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, or similar orchestration tools
- Experience implementing AI solutions subject to financial controls and SOX requirements, with understanding of explainability and auditability needs
- Working knowledge of cloud-based AI/data platform capabilities and enterprise integration patterns
- PeopleSoft or Oracle certification/accreditation
- Change management or transformation leadership experience, particularly introducing AI/automation capabilities to finance operations teams
