About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work proactively with the Senior Finance Manager to manage and deliver finance requirements under the contract
- Review and process journals
- Prepare P&L reporting with variance analysis and insightful commentary
- Build relationships with internal teams and client stakeholders as a trusted financial business partner
- Provide strategic financial guidance and support across the account
- Collaborate on annual budget development and periodic forecasting activities
- Support efficient reporting strategies, including automation and process simplification initiatives
- Maintain critical data integrity and enhance operational excellence
- Assist with Data Governance, AP/AR/GL processes, Financial Governance and Controls, and ad-hoc projects
- Contribute to overall service excellence and key performance indicator achievement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum three years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related business analysis role
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and provide meaningful insights
- Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, or a related field
- Qualification as CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting designation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and articulate complex financial information clearly
- Proactive, professional approach to customer service and stakeholder management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Thorough understanding of IT systems and how to leverage technology for financial reporting and analysis
- Experience with MS Project and/or Visio is advantageous
