About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the financial set-up of new client accounts from signing through go-live and steady state
  • Prepare and reconcile transition budgets and manage the Transition Budget tracker through go-live and 90 days post go-live
  • Work with Transition, On-Account, and Finance Leads to maintain accurate transition budgets
  • Coordinate journal entries for transition-related expenses with Corporate Accountants
  • Improve budget tracking processes and reporting
  • Assist Finance Leads and review/sign off when Analysts flag budget risk or overage
  • Manage the Transition Team Site, including user access, folder creation, and link updates
  • Develop and update transition plans across multiple concurrent accounts
  • Act as Team Lead alternate and point of contact for client transition leads and JLL Account representatives
  • Set up E1, Corrigo, and Bottom-line AP systems, including initial Chart of Accounts and discrepancy resolution
  • Coordinate bank account administration and PCard program setup
  • Troubleshoot transition-related systems and refine SOPs/checklists
  • Guide finance teams through financial processes and procedures for new clients
  • Own the client billing handoff, funding requests, funding log, billing, cash receipts, payments, and cash log updates
  • Complete ASC606 and Company Audit tabs and verify general ledger setup accuracy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • MBA, CA, or CPA a plus
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including several years directly involved in client or account transitions/onboarding
  • Hands-on experience with an accounting/ERP platform (JD Edwards/E1, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent); direct E1/Corrigo/Bottom-line AP exposure preferred
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Comfort with reporting and coordination tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, ADO/Azure DevOps, SmartSheet)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills
  • Proven ability to guide or mentor others through complex, deadline-driven work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Genuine client-facing experience
  • Understanding of and commitment to client service
  • Comfort managing multiple concurrent, time-boxed client transitions in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
