About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead multiple teams across Hard Services and small project management
  • Provide strategic and tactical service delivery in a nuclear activities manufacturing environment
  • Plan and manage daily operations of the Hard Services team
  • Oversee efficient operation and maintenance of facility electrical, mechanical, structural, plumbing, HVAC, life safety, and building systems
  • Maintain infrastructure, compliance documentation, building drawings, single lines, and regulatory records
  • Ensure JLL and client safety procedures are followed and reported
  • Inspect buildings and infrastructure to drive preventative repairs
  • Manage maintenance and capital improvements
  • Evaluate and improve preventive maintenance schedules and the CMMS system with the Reliability Engineer and System Owners
  • Identify maintenance cost savings opportunities
  • Develop client relationships through due diligence and concise communication
  • Prepare and execute annual property budgets
  • Review and approve payables through the purchase order system and MRO stockroom operations
  • Lead service contract negotiations
  • Ensure sites comply with building codes, SOPs, and guidelines
  • Monitor work order metrics and preventive maintenance programs
  • Address SLA gaps and drive process improvements
  • Oversee skills assessments and site engineer training
  • Ensure escalation, life-safety, and emergency procedures are followed
  • Develop documented preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance plans
  • Manage Corrigo work orders, staffing, service offerings, and schedules
  • Audit work orders and task completion daily
  • Collaborate with Account Director and Lead Team on staffing, training, and qualifications
  • Initiate, plan, deliver, and close small projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA in Engineering, Construction, Maintenance, or another related discipline, or 10 years of experience in the field as an engineering supervisor
  • Minimum of 5 years of applicable working experience in building repair and maintenance, plumbing, and electrical
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, including strong organizational, strategic, and interpersonal skills
  • Superior relationship-building abilities among a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and change and effectively delegate
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L outcomes
  • Working knowledge of skilled trades and building-related systems
  • Demonstrated safety leadership
  • Familiarity with project delivery processes and capital planning functions
  • Ability to analyze building systems, determine causes of problems or malfunctions, and take corrective action
  • Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift, and drive daily
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Must pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening
  • Must be a United States citizen or have appropriate permission/visa to work in the United States
  • Must not have a disqualifying criminal event or record
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
