About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as local delivery expert for JLL’s global HR strategy
  • Ensure local policies and practices align with the global HR strategy
  • Anticipate HR opportunities and issues and develop sustainable root-cause solutions
  • Enable exceptional employee experiences across onboarding, performance reviews, promotions and other employee lifecycle moments
  • Contribute to an inclusive culture that celebrates diversity and promotes belonging
  • Lead or participate in just-in-time projects impacting business results
  • Manage employee relations and performance management situations with JLL’s Employee Relations team
  • Provide consultation through coaching, training and advisory support
  • Support employee groups through business transitions, expansions and stabilization
  • Build trusted relationships with local employees and People Partners
  • Execute HR tasks and improve employee lifecycle efficiencies through stakeholder touchpoints and handoffs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3 years experience in an HR partner role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources preferred
  • Ability to work on-site in Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Skilled facilitator, able to lead local and regional employee events and programs
  • Strong team management skills and ability to effectively manage priorities
  • Ability to adjust communication styles to varying situations and ensure an inclusive environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and acute attention to detail
  • Ability to cultivate robust and meaningful relationships with employees and managers
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Appetite for exceeding expectations and creating positive business impact
