About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a key member of the Account Team, providing on-site program management
  • Ensure compliance and execution by site teams with JLL and client requirements
  • Provide hands-on support in safety training, inspections, incident response, regulatory adherence, and workplace hazard prevention
  • Act as the primary point of contact for HSSE requirements and activities
  • Communicate HSSE needs and results to account and business leaders
  • Develop and refine JLL’s HSSE culture and training programs on the account
  • Provide technical expertise, strategic leadership, and support on HSSE regulatory compliance issues
  • Develop and maintain the account training matrix
  • Collaborate with the JLL HSSE Life Sciences team to share best practices across accounts
  • Manage trend analysis and adjust management systems as necessary
  • Provide key performance and risk indicators to JLL and client teams
  • Manage and review accidents, injuries, near misses, and good catches for trends
  • Lead or support serious safety event investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and lessons-learned communications
  • Support environmental compliance efforts under the JLL/client MSA/SOW
  • Maintain account HSSE procedures, documentation, and records
  • Support ISO 45001 and 14001 management system certification activities
  • Serve as key client contact for HSSE communications and activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors’ degree in safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or relevant field
  • 5+ years of HSSE experience
  • Practical working knowledge of Health and Safety tools and techniques, ideally within a Facilities Management environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant standards, legislation, codes of practice, guidance and operating procedures
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, information management proficiency and collaborative management style
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish credibility with colleagues and clients
  • Ability to identify the root cause of problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • General Industry OSHA certifications desired (CHM, CSHM, CIH, CSP, CEP, etc.)
  • GMP/GxP experience highly desired
  • Relevant professional certification(s) or master’s degree a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
