About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in managing and coordinating data center facility operations and maintenance activities
  • Supervise and mentor technical staff, including engineers, technicians, and contractors
  • Monitor and analyze critical systems performance, including power, cooling, and network infrastructure
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in capacity planning and infrastructure upgrade projects
  • Respond to and manage critical incidents and emergency situations
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for management and clients
  • Serve as the first point of contact for service-impacting events involving the electrical distribution system
  • Troubleshoot and mitigate incidents
  • Assist in creating root cause analyses (RCAs)
  • Provide after-hours support for electrical distribution systems, including 24x7 responses

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center operations and management
  • Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and network architecture
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices (e.g., ASHRAE, TIA, Uptime Institute)
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Proficiency in using facility management software and building automation systems
  • Valid certification in at least one relevant area (e.g., CDCP, DCPRO, or equivalent)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
