About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the operation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of building systems and facilities across an assigned portfolio
  • Perform general building maintenance, including drywall repair, painting, ceiling tile replacement, minor carpentry, door and hardware repairs, and furniture installation
  • Complete basic plumbing and electrical repairs, including lighting replacements, faucet repairs, toilet repairs, and unclogging drains
  • Respond to tenant service requests and work orders professionally, promptly, and with a customer-focused approach
  • Assist with preventive maintenance activities, site inspections, office moves, workspace setup, and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Escort vendors and contractors while ensuring compliance with safety and security procedures
  • Maintain accurate work order updates, inventory records, and documentation within Corrigo or related systems
  • Support emergency response activities and after-hours calls
  • Travel regularly between assigned client locations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial building maintenance or general facilities maintenance experience
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, drywall repair, painting, carpentry, and door hardware repairs
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and ability to travel between multiple facilities
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., work on ladders up to 30 feet, and perform physically demanding maintenance tasks
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to pass applicable background, drug/alcohol, and motor vehicle record screenings
  • Trade school certification or vocational training in building maintenance or a related field (preferred)
  • OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
  • Experience supporting Class A office buildings or multi-site portfolios (preferred)
  • Experience working in secure, regulated, or government environments (preferred)
  • Familiarity with work order management systems such as Corrigo (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team environment (preferred)
  • Experience supporting preventive maintenance programs and vendor coordination (preferred)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
