About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee a team within the Occupancy Planning & Management work group
  • Assign tasks, maintain schedules, and ensure work meets established procedures and quality standards
  • Support team member development and performance
  • Work with the Account Director to deliver JLL’s occupancy planning and management products, solutions, and tools
  • Guide the team in supporting real estate clients with space planning, portfolio management, and move coordination
  • Foster productive relationships within the team and across JLL work groups
  • Oversee project status reports, seat demand tracking, space capacity analysis, and inventory forecasting
  • Ensure accuracy in floorplan reviews, spatial planning, and migration plans
  • Resolve operational problems and escalate complex issues as appropriate
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to direct reports
  • Create planning reports supporting Corporate Real Estate decision-making
  • Present progress, challenges, and next steps to team members, managers, and client contacts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise a team, assign work, and monitor progress
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain procedures and priorities clearly
  • Experience coaching team members and maintaining schedules
  • Full knowledge of occupancy planning and management practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, cell calculations) and PowerPoint
  • Ability to read and work with floorplans
  • Understanding of business policies and procedures within the relevant area
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with numbers and spatial data
  • Ability to maintain budgets and operate within an operating plan
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure timely completion of work
  • Ability to resolve routine operational problems independently and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Professional and responsive with clients and team members
  • Ability to build rapport and work collaboratively across teams
  • Comfortable interacting with direct reports and functional peer managers
  • Relevant experience in occupancy planning, space management, facility management, or related field
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • University degree or relevant certification preferred
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience is a plus
