About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment and systems in assigned facilities
Maintain equipment in an energy-efficient and safe manner while minimizing downtime
Perform inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting
Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment across HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, piping, material handling equipment, and related systems
Perform preventive maintenance and repair response work orders
Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interiors/exteriors, grounds, and production equipment
Perform facility inspections and due diligence, reporting conditions affecting client occupancy and operations
Submit P-card receipts daily
Update work order status in real time
Use CMMS systems such as Corrigo
Cover the Wichita Falls, TX area as a mobile operating engineer
Work standard business hours with on-call availability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment)
Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair and maintenance
Knowledge of overall system design and applications
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
Must be available for call-in work and perform other duties as required
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
